As a non-Indigenous person myself, I am committed to actively working towards reconciliation.
I come with respect for this land that I am on today, and for the people who have and do reside here.
From coast to coast, I would like to acknowledge the ancestral and unceded territory of all the Inuit, Metis, and the First Nations people that call this land home.
Please join me in a moment of reflection to acknowledge the effects of residential schools, and colonialism on Indigenous families and communities and to consider how we are and can each, in our own way, move forward in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
